Bill Kellogg has underwritten over $2 billion of tax insurance limits covering a multitude of risks arising from M&A transactions, financings and other events.  He is a market leader in underwriting tax controversy insurance and is a go-to underwriter for large tax insurance programs, recognized by brokers and underwriters alike for his sophistication, professionalism, transparency, and expediency.  Bill joined the tax insurance industry in 2019 and joined Ryan Transactional Risk in 2022, leaving his role as Global Head of Tax Insurance for a reputable competitor to lead Ryan Transactional Risk’s tax insurance business in North America and build upon the company’s reputation as an industry pioneer.  Before entering the tax insurance industry, Bill worked for over a decade in roles as an external tax adviser (for Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP and O’Melveny & Myers LLP) and as in-house tax counsel (for Oracle Corporation and American International Group).
